Chris and Rachel, the husband and wife team from The Keenan Cookbook received Gretchen’s blog, Veggie Grettie as their assignment for August. They decided on this intriguing slaw that uses fresh squeezed orange juice instead of mayo.
Their thoughts: “I really liked this slaw. The carrots are sweet and crunchy and were a surprising compliment to the apples. It was refreshing in the summer, but I see this really being great in the Fall when apples are in peak season.”
