Chicken Meatballs with Peanut Butter Sauce: Chef In Disguise

Do you ever look at a picture and imagine yourself there?  Can you see your surroundings, take in the sights, sounds and smells just by looking at the picture?  Now, look at this picture and take a nice slow deep breath.  Got it?  While you finish reading this post and taking in your “surroundings”, I’m going to just slip out to the grocery store for the ingredients to this dish . . . I’ll be back shortly.  Sawsan who blogs at Chef in Disguise received Lisa’s blog, Sweet as Sugar Cookies, as her SRC assignment for this month.  Sawsan said . . .

“The recipe was a huge hit with the kids, even my husband who is not very fond of chinese recipes went back for seconds. The meatballs were delicious on their own but its the sauce that makes everything shine here. The peanut butter makes the sauce creamy and nutty while the sugar helps balance out the saltiness of the soya sauce. The vegetables add color and texture while the chopped peanuts add and irresistable crunch. A sprinkle of chopped parsley for a dose of refreshment. Then get ready for your tastebuds to dance.”
