Coconut and Marcona Almond Brittle: Authentic Suburban Gourmet

Lisa, the Authentic Suburban Gourmet loves everything food!  When I say “everything” we’re talking Bon Appetite, Food and Wine, Saveur, The Cooking Channel, Williams-Sonoma, Sur La Table . . . the list goes on and on.  But mostly she loves making great food and the experiences she has with other bloggers.  Lisa’s SRC assignment this month was My Catholic Kitchen by Veronica.  Veronica is a self-taught cook, loves her family and has really great nicknames for everyone in her family e.g. “Monkey Girl”, “The Hubster”, and “Meeka”.  Lisa says . . .

“Veronica’s recipe was both simple and straight forward. The result was pure heaven and not to mention rather addictive. Knowing this, I decided to bring the batch of goodness to my office, where by the end of the day, only crumbs remained.”
