This week our Editor’s Choice comes to us from Jane, our talented group A hostess who blogs over at The Heritage Cook. Her May Group A assignment was Phemomenon and the recipe she chose was White Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Marbled Loaf Cake.
Doesn’t this cake look delicious? You’d never know by looking at it that it’s gluten free, would you? Like me, Jane was diagnosed as being gluten-intolerant not to long ago. But unlike me, she set to work on changing her baking recipes over to gluten-free, something I haven’t done, but really should. A perfect example is this marble loaf cake. It contains no wheat flour, but still rose up beautifully, and looks like it has the same texture as it’s gluten containing counterpart. With those kind of delicious results, there’s no reason NOT to make that leap over to gluten-free baking.
