“Tandy has taken a regular flatbread recipe and turned it fabulous by griddling them (cooking them on an indoor grill pan). I’ve been wanting to grill pizza for a while, but had yet to attempt it in my own kitchen. I knew this was my chance! My word, were these delicious! And they are quick to make, quick to grill, and perfect for any time when you’d like to use your grill in a nontraditional way.”

Both of these bloggers have a serious sweet tooth, so it’s no wonder Karen chose this candy bar style treat as her SRC pick this month. Karen said…

“I came to a simple conclusion: sometimes all we need in life is a candy bar. For me, that candy bar would be a Twix. Or Take Five or Snickers or Reeses Peanut Butter Cup or any form of sugar in bar form- but today that candy bar I need is a Twix since I can’t make all those candy bars in one day (or shouldn’t).”

This week our Editor’s Choice comes to us from Rebekah, who blogs over at Family, Food and Fun. Her May Group B assignment was Angela’s Kitchen and the recipe she chose was Enchilada Meatballs.

My family and I really enjoy Mexican food, so much so that we almost always have it at least once a week on our menu. That’s one of the reasons this recipe caught my eye this week. The second reason is the fun factor. I mean, when you think of Mexican food, meatballs sure don’t come to mind. This is a great twist on traditional Mexican food, and I cant wait to try it.

“I thought there was no way she’s have the recipe I was looking for but when I cruised through the Cheesecake section I found an incredibly decadent looking Peanut Butter Mousse Cheesecake! This cheesecake is over the top, oreo layer, a thick layer of cheesecake and then the smooth and creamy peanut butter mousse topped with peanut butter cups and a peanut butter sauce! This is the kind of dessert I’d save for very special company, and as this has been a very busy month I just didn’t have the occasion for it, but what I did see within Sarah’s recipe was the PEANUT BUTTER PIE!”

“Ben thought they were the best waffles I ever have made, and I must say I was pretty impressed myself. They are crispy and light and airy all at once. It’s a miracle! A carbonated miracle! Apparently it’s an old-timey recipe… I did a little google-investigation and saw that it might have originally been featured in the Hints from Heloise newspaper column. But I’m not an expert on the history… have you ever heard of these waffles?”
