Lemon Polenta Cake: Sweetly Serendipity

Taryn of the popular blog Sweetly Serendipity received Yasmeen of Wandering Spice fame as her SRC assignment this month.  Taryn wants to pass on her passion for baking and food to all of her readers.  Oh, and she loves sugar, which probably makes her a very sweet lady.  Yasmeen has been completely inspired by her life journey which currently has a push pin on the map on Australian and hopes to inspire her readers as well.  Taryn says . . .

“Since I’m not yet very good at knowing the correct gluten-free substitutions in recipes, I was thrilled to stumble on this recipe for Lemon Polenta Cake, which is inherently gluten-free! It uses almond flour and polenta (cornmeal) for the base, and then lots of sugar and butter and eggs (of course) to make up the rest of it. How could that be bad?!”
