Old Fashioned Butterscotch Pudding: Feast On The Cheap

The mother daughter team of Mary Anne and Mariel over at Feast On The Cheap received Liz’s blog, that Skinny Chick Can Bake, as their SRC assignment this month.  And what better pick than this golden, smooth, deliciously sweet Old Fashioned Butterscotch Pudding.  I believe it was Willy Wonka that said, “Invention, my dear friends, is 93% perspiration, 6% electricity, 4% evaporation, and 2% butterscotch ripple”.  If that is, indeed, true – then this is the mother of all inventions.  What a wonderfully, perfect fall treat!  Mariel says . . .

“I had “Stumbled” this very Butterscotch Pudding recipe over a year ago…I just hadn’t made it yet. It was well worth the wait. I haven’t had homemade pudding in a dog’s age, but it is SO much richer and more decadent than the “just add milk” variety you find at the grocery store.”
