Ooey Gooey Single Serve Brownie: Without Adornment

Ooey Gooey Single Serve Brownie: Without Adornment

OK, I know you all are already hooked, so I won’t waste much of your time with chatter.  Bean is the blogger over at Without Adornment.  With a name like “Bean”, you just know that she is a food blogger, right?  Well, she is also a chemical engineer.  Bean prepares gluten-free foods and I just knew that this recipe might be a challenge for her.  Bean’s SRC assignment this month was Fried Ice and Donut Holes by Melissa.  When I first saw Bean’s post, I kept looking for Fried Ice and Donut Holes.  What I found was the reason for the name of Melissa’s blog.  ”When I was younger, I remember my grandpa always telling us to behave or we’d be having fried ice and donut holes (aka nothing) for dinner.  For some reason, that phrase stuck and now it lives on forever!”  Now, we know!  Bean says . . .

“I had to make a few changes to make it me [gluten-free] friendly, but it was pretty simple, especially since she used almond milk.”
