“About three weeks ago, I received my “assignment” for the October Secret Recipe Club. I looked at the name I’d been given out of all those food bloggers out there and I thought, ”oh no; not her!” I wanted to cry. I wanted to back out. I wanted to run away. I had gotten Liz from That Skinny Chick Can Bake.
I love Liz as much as you do. She’s an awesome person. She’s an incredible writer. She’s a phenomenal photographer. And, she’s a fantastic baker. That skinny chick can seriously bake. So, after bake/flop; bake/flop, I’m not baking. Thankfully, Liz is kind to me. She steps outside her baking theme regularly and cooks what I’m good at; meat. Specifically, Red Wine and Soy Marinated Flank Steak. Now this is a recipe I can do.
