Most of the time when I think of “bisque” I think loaded with calories, creamy, tasty, loaded with calories. Well, this one is definitely creamy and tasty, but many of the calories have already been sucked out of it. Well, not literally, but it just proves that a bisque can be a bisque without all the heavy stuff. Julianne from the Kitchen Ninja received Fran’s blog, Fran’s Favs for her SRC assignment this month. “This bisque is really lovely, not only in taste and texture but also in color: gorgeous fall orange! We had it for dinner with Gruyere and prosciutto paninis; I was happy there was plenty leftover for lunch the next day, too.”
